Magical Rehearsals Before the Big Night! πŸ§™‍♂️✨

Today we had the final dress rehearsal for our school play. The excitement in the air was truly magical when students came together to bring this beloved story to life on stage! Costumes, props, and sound effects were all in place, and everything was coming together beautifully.  Our cast and crew have worked very hard over the past few weeks, and today’s rehearsal showed just how much progress we’ve made. We can’t wait to share our performance with our guests during the gala!  πŸŽπŸŒ

Last rehearsals before the final performance with the sountrack

This week for the first time we added the soundtrack to the performance — and it brought the entire show to life. The music really helped create the magical atmosphere we’ve all been working so hard to achieve. What made it even more special was that the sound was operated entirely by students from class 8. They did an amazing job controlling the timing and volume of each track, making sure everything matched the scenes perfectly.
The FINAL: Harry Potter Play is on the Stage Great efforts make great show... Part 3 Part 4

WHAT'S NEXT? WE HAVE STARTED SEMI-REAL SCENE

As a next part, we have started the rehearsels. Because the gestures and English pronunciation are getting better. To make rehearsels, we work at the school stage at first. This is not our real scene. We are getting closer to the real scene. Stay tuned for us! :)

On a "real" stage

For the first time we had a rehearsal on our target stage. Hmmm...  It was a bit different - more space for stage movement but also different room acoustics.  We managed, even in costumes from the play πŸ’ͺ😁                                                     Hagrid with HarryπŸ‘“   Professor McGonagall's classes                        Professor Flitwick in actionπŸ’« Professor Snape spreads terror πŸ˜‰                                                                                         ...
As our Theatre Performance date approaches.... Our stage performance studies were crowned with theater workshops. We receive training from experts. How will we stand on stage? How will we interact with the audience? How will we load meaningful expressions into our voices? And how will we convey our voices to the audience? We received training from experts on this.

THE SECOND PART: English Pronuciation

As we already have known our theatre is in English because English is lingua franca. English is learnt as L2 in our country like the other partners in the project so it is challenging part for the students to pronounce the script correctly. For months, we watch, we listen, we articulate, we repeat, we act and try so many different tactics. We focused on phonemic, syllabic, accentual and intonational parts of pronunciation. We made great efforts to make the pronunciation fit well and we hope that the result will make us happy.

THE FIRST ATTEMPT: Deciding the Roles

The first step of our theatre is dividing the roles. Which students will fit which roles? We listen and watch the actions of each student. According to evaluation, each student has a role.
HOW YOU SAY IT IS AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT YOU SAY. We had started to work on supporting what we said on stage with body language.
THE ROLES ARE CAST. NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE COSTUMES... Costume contributes to the increase of the effect in the theater, to the increase of art power, to the emergence of the role character, so we prepared our costumes suitable for our roles.

Another week, another attempt

Today we tackled "Harry Potter" once again. We focused on stage movement and contact with the audience.

Meanwhile, just before Easter...

Another week and another theatre rehearsal! Today we focused on costumes, to get more into the roles. Other tasks include stage movement and how to position yourself on stage. How to talk to your co-star and maintain contact with the audience? - this is our puzzle for today.

Dividing roles, working on the script and first rehearsals

Aaand.......action!πŸ’¬ It's time to start rehearsals for our joint performance based on the adventures of Harry Potter and his friendsπŸ’ͺπŸ‘“ First, we prepared the script and divided it into roles. Then we assigned roles to individual students.  🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭 December is time for Christmas presents. πŸŽ„πŸŽFor us, it was a time to divide roles! πŸ˜€ 🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭 For many weeks we have read and corrected English text togeteher. Table tests are gaining momentum. 🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭 Another Wednesday and another attempt. πŸ“…πŸ’ͺ How to take care of the stage movement? How to keep in touch with the audience? How to express emotions?  Today we answered these questions in practice, in front of the audience.πŸ’‘
